About the event

Get ready to dance and sing along to your favourite tunes, and some new discoveries, while indulging in a candy wonderland that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable night of music and magic!

French Class

French Class is an electronic dance pop project led by Megumi Kimata, a beat maker based in Winnipeg. French Class makes you want to put on your most fire fit, call all the pals, and get on the dance floor. Drum beat & synth loop experimentations in collaboration with Gabriela Ocejo and Tiana Garcia's jazz influenced vocals and hot power couple Lindsay Woolgar and Kevin Waters jamming in the rhythm section.

Candy Whip

Candy whip is a queer femme musical comedy duo. They produce raunchy bangers that will make you laugh and dance simultaneously. What started as a way to pass the time as a covid hobby has turned into a force more powerful than the highest setting on your hitachi. They’re sweet, they’re sassy, and they’re ready to whip you into shape, so strap in and remember your safe words sweetie.

Elliot Loran

Elliott has been playing the piano for over 30 years and is always excited to share his love of music with others! He has appeared on stage as Jerry Lee Lewis at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Center, the Globe Theatre as well as the Western Canada Theatre. “88 keys got 6 strings beat every time”…

A La Mode

Suffused with the playful, kitschy synth-pop sensibilities of songwriter Domo Lemoine, À La Mode makes spacious oddities that twist and turn like the tail of a kite fluttering in the clear Manitoba sky.

It’s free-spirited music for the squiggly weirdos who don’t easily fit into the rigid shapes of society’s jigsaw puzzlethe kind of songs you’ll be grateful to find yourself getting lost in.
